Useful thing in #Devonthink, in the Pro Office OSX version I have. As myself, you might have thousands of screen captures somewhere in a folder. It is difficult to search them, as they are in png format. In Devonthink, you can index the folder (it takes a few seconds), then bulk OCR all of them with a right-click, to append the OCRd text as a comment. Your text will be available for searches in OSX and in Devonthink as well. #workflow #OCR #screencaps

Den Rest musst Du immer noch manuell erledigen, insbesondere bei Fotos. Ich bin immer wieder angenehm überrascht, wie gut im Fediverse Bilder beschrieben und getagged werden - ich wäre da meistens fauler :rm_smileblush:

A terrible case 🤡: a German book with long citations in French and Italian, many, many footnotes, figures, tables. If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere.
