There are times when I'm sure I could sink half a bottle of something strong or several of something weaker but I keep taking it #OneDayAtATime #ODAAT.
I kinda wish I could still drink, butt this point it still feels early days on my journey and I definitely do not trust some little part of my psyche. #Running helps, less stress would help more.

Just had to do a little loop at the end to round up to 10km. Just had to obviously.
This is definitely therapy and fitness most of the time. Great run with some great folks.

I keep thinking to myself, as the memories of my excessive consumption of alcohol fade into past, could I have a couple of beers and just stop? Part of me wants that to be OK. Part of me wants to be hardline and never turn back and another part of me can't cope with some sort of relapse.
I am conflicted. Is there a community out there who can give wisdom?

I was also taught to ask myself if I absolutely, positively had to be at the gathering. Will the world end if I don't go to Uncle Charlie's place for supper? Probably not.
I was speaking with a young woman who was 3 days away from her 60 days and she was worried about the same thing. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
What's more important? My sobriety or someone's feelings?
My sobriety wins every time.
