I heard about it on Ham Radio Workbench first, it's something @smitty is working on (if I have that right) for an Open Headset Standard Interface.
tl;dr, if I remember the show right, why do we need a ton of different adapters and interfaces to use a headset across different manufacturers? There has to be a better way, right?
