❗ 16,207 children have been forcibly deported to Russia since the beginning of the invasion.
In May 2022, Putin signed a decree making it easier for Russians to adopt and obtain citizenship for Ukrainian children, accelerating the continued abduction of Ukrainian children.
In many reported cases, children from Ukraine were sent to #Russia, despite still having living relatives and families in #Ukraine.
