I just finished packing for my first #POTA activation tomorrow!

@KC8JC yeah, I plan on submitting logs to #OSPOTA too. I plan on being there from 9 AM to 12 PM, so not too long, but long enough to have some fun. 😀 I'll listen for ya on the airwaves!

I'm doing my first #POTA activation on Saturday at a State Park and it also happens to line up with #OSPOTA too 😃

I'm getting ready to test some gear for OSPOTA.

There are only 2 categories: <100 watts and >= 100 watts.

So the Hardrock-50 is coming out to play this year. I did well last time without it (even though the bands were hot garbage everywhere but 40m). We'll see if I can do better this year.

I'm not a contesting kinda guy, but my home club sponsors this one so it's hard NOT to camp in a state park for the weekend and play radio.

My hands are tied!

Had a great OSPOTA today. Got around 53 contacts on SSB for the contest.

And my X6100 saved the day when I could not remember how to do something critical with my IC-705.

I will have to write up what I did wrong.

Know Thy Rig is my new motto (of shame).

Also picked up 50+ Ft8 contacts. This park? ACTIVATED.
