The Kingdom of Varlamore already got spoiled in the #OSRS cache released with Desert Treasure II. It shows multiple locations in the kingdom that we haven't seen before. Descriptions for each screenshot in their alt texts.

Why #rs3 is #freemium while #Albion isn't?

One of the things to look at is that when you are #FreeToPlay in Runescape3 / #OSRS you can't access some stuff, like ie. a lot of the quests, you can't access some areas, some areas locked by skills you can't train due to them being locked to members.

I don't find this decision bad. I see something really good that Albion could learn from its sibling.

Albion doesn't have a unified trading system like rs does.

And don't get me wrong about #rs3. I can't stand #osrs because I've not found any reasonable way to grind money like you can in #rs3.

So if I wanted to play osrs, I would grind a bond in f2p #Runescape, then I would login to osrs and play as a #member.

Little bit more of #OSRS today. Not really been feeling like grinding levels in #Runescape much recently, but a little bit of Tempoross, and cooking the fish it gave me was quite good today, as a chill 'I don't want to fully focus on a game rn' #mmo #gaming session.

From 68 to 70 fishing, and from 69 to 72 cooking, so not exactly leaps and bounds stuff, but a little bit of improvement. Magic tipped over from 75 to 76 High Alching jewellery from Tempoross, so that's a wee win as well.

They left Fandom 4 years ago, partly because of excessive ads and have had pretty awesome growth since then. They get 1.5 billion views a year.

Coolest thing I've seen them do is fork the #MediaWiki Kartographer extension to display the in-game map instead of OSM.

I'm a pretty casual #OSRS player + the wiki is a phenomenal resource, so it's sad to see, but the maintainers need to be paid.

Finally, after like 7 attempts each taking an hour, I got my fire cape! Still a long ways to go, and more things to do, but this was such a rush to finally get! #osrs #runescape

Done my Nintendo #Replay, so thought it'd make sense to go through my #Steam one, especially with the Steam Deck this year.

Kinda of interesting. Played a bunch of #SniperElite4 with my brother (not on this), started #OSRS, second playthrough of #EldenRing, bit of #Forza, bit of #VampireSurvivors. Tried #StarOcean The Last Hope 4K since it ProtonDB said it work fine, and it was a nice #RPG to play handheld, must say.

Dunno why it think I played #Linux off of the #SteamDeck, I didn't.

Merry xmas! Gonna have a cozy day, stream to twitch in the afternoon, #lilgatorgame and then going to attempt some #signalis ; I just wrapped up my Western Provinces elite diary in #osrs, 5 elite diaries remaining! Have swapped to some woodcutting till 90 so I have a nice afk task to push for as my next 99. Tons of progress on the account this year, 3 new 99's, more than half the elite diaries, easy/medium combat diaries, passed 2k total(2015 currently), really happy with my progress.

Going to be a bit of a Tempoross grind in #OSRS for a while (unless I get bored) trying to get some of the unique drops like the Tome, Fish Barrel/Tackle Box, maybe a 'poon or pet if I'm really lucky (I won't be).

At least I'll get some more active fishing exp and a pile of fish straight to the bank to train cooking later.
