The new #OSTCompJam has already started! https://itch.io/jam/rmx-jam This time I'm going to use a tracker, Furnace Tracker to be specific, in order to recreate the sound of the #GameBoyAdvance as realistically as possible.

My plan is to enter the jam twice: first with a couple of Pokemon song covers, to learn how to use Furnace and put my public domain sample collection to test, and then with original compositions using the same sound chips and samples. I hope I have enough time to finish! #Music

The next #OSTCompJam starts this week! This time it's a remix jam, so we're supposed to create covers, remixes or tracks "inspired by" preciously existing works.

Finished a second song for the jam 🥳 I won't share it this time, I'll wait until I finish them all.

I'm happy but tired. This week I'm insanely busy so I spend all day in front of the computer working, and then at night I work on the music for the jam... Today I'll quit early because I'm exhausted and my arm hurts after using a mouse for so long. I don't want to injure myself 😅

I made it to 40th place overall (out of 78 entries) which is awesome considering how pro everyone was, my (still) limited exp in music composition and the fact that it was my first jam. I'm very happy and I got a lot of helpful feedback! Definitely entering future jams if I'm able 💜

My entry for the #OSTCompJam: CRUNCHTIME 02 is finally done! 🥳 Phew. In the end I've made three tracks: titlescreen, overworld and battle. They're pretty short but I'm happy with the results!
