@drrimmer OTA "recall". ;) Kind of silly that something that's fixed by an #OTAUpdate gets called a "recall". I guess my phone's calculator app was "recalled" the other day ;)
@Smootasaurus How about starting with the fact that it's an #OTAUpdate, aka shouldn't even be called a recall.
Then move onto the fact that there's 1,5M #Teslas in the US.
Then the fact that car recalls are common to begin with.
Maybe then conclude with the fact that this one was merely about changing the algorithm for when brakelights light up to make it less sensitive.
@JustAnotherJay 1) They didn't "recall" anything, it's just an #OTAUpdate. 2) Every manufacturer gets recalls regardless 3) All #Tesla.s have redundant power steering; and 4) To put 40k #cars into perspective, they're making 1,5 million this year alone.
