#3dprinting makers of the fediverse who use #octopi or a tablet to control their printers, should I keep trying to get octopi to work or should I just load an app on an old tablet?

If the latter, what apps would work on older units? I have old ipads and android tables to upcycle.

Having a lot of trouble getting SSH working on an rpi with octopi and getting #docker to work with a usb in my main pc is causing headaches.

#3dPrinting I added a filament sensor to one of my printers plugged into a GPIO pin set on my #OctoPi The software supports it (plugin) but the sensitivity of the sensor isn't what I would like. Here's Cricket looking at the sensor with askance.. Currently that printer is suspended from operations. I needed to replace a fan in the OctoPi housing, and there is something in the drive of the extruder back pushing the filament. One day at a time.

At the occasion of just having made a minimal modification: my #OctoPi cabinet.
I integrated the CR-10 V2's PSU to be able to silence the control unit some (+ some additional switching stuff, like light controls and the ability to remotely shut down power completely via Telegram bot).

TouchScreen-Display ist leider im Eimer. Touch-Sensorik spielt verrückt. Lässt sich auch nicht richtig kalibrieren.
