After what I've had to endure in my time I will never, ever, work in another office again. It's not worth the frustration, it's not worth the exhaustion, it's not worth the shit wages, it's not worth the excessive workload, it's not worth the stress, it's not worth the sacrifice of a home life, it's not worth the sacrifice of my mental health, it's not worth the sacrifice of my confidence, it's not worth the sacrifice of my self-esteem, it's not worth the clinical depression.

OK, I'm a so-called #OldSchoolPhotographer from the late 80's which in itself is a bullshit misnomer, I take #Photographs, I'm a #Photographer, the fact I stuck with film should have no bearing on this but hey-ho we all like to pigeon-hole things & so there we are. My work can be classed as #Documentary, this is/was only discovered later in life after shooting for over 30-odd years, reviewing my work collectively & noting sequences, some would say 'stories'. These stories have been built upon & I'm working hard to put a series of #Photobooks together. So yes, I'm trying to capitalise on my work. This in itself brings forth the #ImposterSyndrome despite having studied photography all the way through my education years. I don't have a photographers network, went off on a tangent in the #RatRace since leaving uni, face it, it's fucking hard to get a decent job with a #Disability, I took what I could. But now, I want to do things my own way, & it's hard, I'm not gonna lie. I need to find a good #Publisher. I don't like #Instagram, although I have a photography account on there I don't utilise it, I'm reluctant to put my 'a-grade' work on it, so I'm thinking more along the lines of #PhotographyMagazine submissions, maybe? And a portfolio website thing. Trying to go #SelfEmployed is difficult, & yet, I can't go back to an #OfficeJob, I won't survive it. Apologies for rambling on, my head's all over the shop.

I'll go first...

#Emails. I take a chunk of time over an email because it must be error free, in the right tone. Then I realise I need to find and check another email for reference. Then I remember another email and start composing that too, but then I need to find a file attachment and open it... I start editing the doc... and suddenly...it's dark and I have 50 emails and files open and I JUST CAN'T
