Always surprised me how the advanced, rich and powerful Germany fell for the most stupid antiscience oil-sponsored campaign against sustainable energy, and again who was the main pro-russian-gas actor during Merkel's? Greenpeace of course, the most prominent billionaire funded fake activism group.
Now with Russia out of the equation Germany is forced to extract coal erasing years of progress on climate action. Thanks Greenpeace!
You forced us to switch to Monsanto agrochemicals and gmos by banning the competition here in South America and now this...

Fucking Green Peace is celebrating 3rd world countries lost access to life saving technology AGAIN after lobbying for 2 decades, these science deniers pieces of shit are directly responsible for the destruction of the development and distribution of vitamin-added rice and eggplant in South East Asia that could potentially saved 5 million children that died or were left blind from malnutrition since 2013.
Yes what you red, Greenpeace destroyed fields and burned food destined to the poorest kids on earth and their future generations it's just one of the most evil things I've seen.
Fuck you Greenpeace, eat shit and die

"Al Gore warns it would be ‘recklessly irresponsible’ to allow drilling plan - has warned it would be “recklessly irresponsible” to allow an enormous, controversial oil drilling project to proceed in , speaking ahead of a decision from the administration on whether to approve it. Gore spoke amid growing alarm among Democrats and campaigners that the Willow development will drastically undermine the US’s effort to confront the climate crisis.

The vast, multi-billion-dollar oil project, to be situated on the of Alaska’s northern coast, is awaiting approval from the federal government that could arrive as soon as Friday. Gore, the former US vice-president and leading climate advocate, told the Guardian that the planned drilling would threaten local communities as well as the task of curbing dangerous global heating.

“The proposed expansion of oil and gas drilling in Alaska is recklessly irresponsible,” Gore said. “The pollution it would generate will not only put Alaska native and other local communities at risk, it is incompatible with the ambition we need to achieve a net zero future.

“We don’t need to prop up the fossil fuel industry with new, multi-year projects that are a recipe for climate chaos,” Gore added. “Instead, we must end the expansion of oil, gas and coal and embrace the abundant climate solutions at our fingertips.”

@lavergnetho Yeah - to the surprise of absolutely no-one I guess... Actually it's really remarkable how much Norway's O&G infrastucture is an *order of magnitude* higher than the rest of the .. It has the top 9 places!
I think I saw some commentary somewhere that this methodology showed the has been understating it's emissions significantly

US netted $174 bn in profits last year. That's just one industry among many that has contributed to the hothouse Earth we are leaving as an inheritance for future life. should do the right thing meet the commitments made to bring developing nations with us into the future. We must not abandon them to suffer the consequences of inordinate consumption & profiteering without ethics.
