Palm oil is pumped onto a tanker in the East Pomio (East New Britain), #PapuaNewGuinea. The tug boat next to the ship help with pulling the palm oil hose connecting the pipeline coming from the mill to the ship.

Preparing to write a piece on plantations and multiple and overlapping territorial orders. After reading my fieldnotes returned to my eternity project where I try to map the situation out on #GIS.

But the thing I wanted to toot is that I'm mesmerized by the road network built for/on oil palm plantations. Without topographic contours/aerial images they look like bizarre mazes.
