Starting today, the Digital Services Act (DSA) compels the largest tech companies to better police content to protect European users against disinformation and hate speech. All digital services will need to comply by February.
(It's gotta help the rest of us on the same platforms, as well. Thank you, EU.)

Twitter is the most dangerous social media platform for LGBTQ users, according to 2023 GLAAD report.
But all five social media giants - TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook - have failed. Platforms lack transparency, enforcement, and action, prioritizing profit over LGBTQ safety and lives.
