The push for open access of research results (and I'm 100% in favour) is, unfortunately, making many predatory/dubious journals rich. Now every project asks for 10-20K of money to pay (with public money) open access fees that will, mostly, end up in the bank accounts of such journals.

I'd prefer an approach where you publish wherever you think it's scientifically best and then publish the same pdf in a public repository (arxiv, HAL or whatever).

In the editorial, we introduce our new CSL stylesheet, which allows our authors using #reference management software to automatically follow our citation style.

We encourage the use of community managed #opensource software, such as #Zotero, in #research work, so that we are in control of the the means of knowledge production we use.

That is also why we are an #OpenAcess journal.
