Watching with interest. https://blog.datacite.org/data-citation-corpus-announcement-2023/
Thanks to @datacite, #WellcomeTrust, and the #ChanZuckerbergInitiative for building this corpus and thanks for putting it in the #PublicDomain.
PS: How will this #interoperate with similar projects like #I4OC and #OpenCitations?

Not sure it is related, but it seem like since Elon Musk "bought" Twitter nice things happen every day. #introduction
SciPost.org just joined the Fediverse & immediately with their own server! Welcome @jscaux
😊 🎉 ⚛️
SciPost does amazingly well trying something really hard: to build from scratch a modern complete publishing infrastructure system one would design had we not had the legacy of paper journals.

@tfardet #OpenCitations gathers information on which articles are cited by a certain article and which article cite this certain article. One would expect this data to be publicly available metadata for every published article, but unfortunately that is not the case.
One limitation is that they only consider doi-doi pairs. For me as climatologist, quite a number of my references does not have a doi. Either too old or a report.
Also "handles" are (free) doi alternatives. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handle_System
Do you know #OpenCitations? It is an independent infrastructure organization for open scholarship dedicated to the publication of open bibliographic and citation data.
