For the past 2-3 weeks I've been testing out LibreOffice 7.5. I found that there are quite a number of annoyances in Writer, Calc and Draw.

Most of the problems are "Cursor" problems where the document gets stuck with a cursor other the normal arrow cursor. The last cursor problem was a "bucket" cursor I couldn't get back to the regular cursor.. There were other issues as well.

I'm going back to OpenOffice 4 works without annoyances. I tried.

I'm thinking of switching from ~15 years of using OpenOffice to LibreOffice.

My one complaint with Oo is recently (<1 year ago) it's become slow to open some of my documents (spreadsheets mainly) and has corrupted some of them.

What are your thoughts about making the switch from Oo to LO?

@whatever @Forbes I keep confusing #OnlyOffice with #OpenOffice . I do not like #OpenOffice because it uses Java, #LibreOffice doesn't. Also, the latter is default installation on most #Linux desktop OSes. I'll check out #OnlyOffice , thanks for the tip.
