I am QRV on DMR TG 26223 (D23 Chaoswelle) since a couple days now and already had some very nice QSO’s there. It's amazing to see how many people have this talk group in their scan list and answer a CQ call. And I am still in love with my OpenSpot 4 hotspot. This little thing is a door to the (ham radio) world in my pocket.

Here is a copy of my email from January 2022 to SharkRF explaning the "problem" and suggesting a possible "solution". I think the way they finally implenented it is much better than the idea that I had because everyone has a Smartphone anyway.

Yes, just received my new Openspot4 Pro ham radio hotspot today! And it has PTT support now, which is the most important new feature for me, compared to the Openspot3 (a feature which I suggested to the Openspot guys last year). It allows to send and receive audio directly via my Smartphone over Wifi (no radio necessary). I can just throw the little devices into my backpack and be QRV with my phone at all times. Super cool! 🥳

Whenever I see that red light flickering on the #OpenSpot at 1:25am when I'm at home, I definitely need to try to remember to go into the "VoiceFunc" settings to change the "Max Vol Level" to "Indoor" on the #AnyTone878 - BEFORE I even turn the volume knob one one tiny bit clockwise. Because " #TruckerMike, you're not in your truck anymore & folks are tryin' to get some sleep around here!" #DMRradio
