I'm a writer, playwright podcaster, actor, etc now all I want to tell an audience is what that dx has meant to a broad hurtling to 60 who was labelled a #changeling as a child

@HedgeNewby to finally get a diagnosis of #actuallyautistic at 57 is incredible.
And it makes "sense" of my entire life.
I was prescribed stimulants for #ADHD (Strattera) but side effects were a bridge too far. Now on amphetamines its all fitting together like a surreal jigsaw. I've learnt so much from the neurodivergent community. I've written an essay about an #artscentre and #autism called #OpeningDoors
