There are two more performances. Don't miss it. It made me wonder though, why are there so many operas about lovers being oppressed by corrupt right-wing authoritarians? It seems like that was a thing in the 19th century. And here we are in the 21st century and it's still going on.

Opening night over 'n out! It's such a joy to see Alma Deutscher conduct her opera Cinderella at Opera San José. The audience sure seemed to enjoy it!
Now I do believe it's time for the expected (?) goodnight flower, because I'm so very tired, and we have another performance tomorrow.
