I know there's https://www.covidsafedentists.ca and https://www.covidconscioustherapists.com but does anyone know of any similar directories for optometrists? I haven't had any luck in my area on https://covidmeetups.com or https://covidsafenetwork.com and all the big chains have policies that seem to be some variation of "we will mask when required by local guidelines", which basically means they won't. The online eye exams don't seem to fit my needs.

Finally got back to the #optometrist to pick up my new reading #glasses & there’s something wrong with the prescription - each eye individually fine but together they seem to be massively screwed up - anyone else had this? It’s been nearly an hour since I tried them on for about 2 mins & only just starting to feel like my left eye isn’t being twisted with a wrench. Headache receding too. So I have a new appointment to be retested. In a month because all is chaos & the calendar is full

I just got an artificial lens in my second eye and have lost the magic ability to focus very close that comes with being strongly short sighted… I did some math and worked out that 1/ADD should be the focal distance of near sight glasses? Is that correct? It doesn’t quite match with what I measure for the other eye, but it’s difficult to be exact…

How important is it to get the exact BC and DIA on daily disposable contact lenses? Very infrequent wearer.

I can get different brands if I go ±0.1 or ±0.2 on both BC and DIA.
