Tho it's not as if @SUSE and @ubuntu could've made better offerings before, and I still think that unless one has a harsh #Vendor #LockIn #Ubuntu and @opensuse are the better options.
I just wished #SUSE and espechally #Canonical were more commited of building good distros than weird shite like this...
Not that I excuse RedHat from doing an #Oracle #OpenSolaris with #RHEL! @SolarisDiaspora

@libreoffice @avon_deer @aetus yeah, that"s because #Oracle basically gave the original devs the middle finger and they hard-forked #OpenOffice to #LibreOffice.
And then Oracle made it basically #Abandonware so it ended up at the Apache Foundation...
Similar to #Sibelius vs. #Dorico but both are #CCSS and don't share any codebase whatsoever!

I literally spoke with some who were extremely frustrated and tired despite having decades of successful relations with Sun before and basically buying their latest machines always specced out to the max.
