Got my signed #OriginsOfTheWheelOfTime in today. I gave my first copy to my brother, so I'm glad to have this one safely arrived today.

This morning I finished the first part of #OriginsOfTheWheelOfTime and got to the listing for characters, places, etc. I did of course jump to the entry for #Nakomi.

I'm really not sure what I expected coming into it. I felt pretty confident that one of the many theories put forward by the community over the years was right - there were almost too many theories for that to not be the case..

I'm still working my way through #OriginsOfTheWheelOfTime and haven't made it to the glossary section. Even still, just getting to hear some of the mechanics of how Jordan pulled it together, and about how long it took, was fascinating.

So I just got to the part where there is a clear description Jordan of the planned central theme for the series and I honestly have to say that I'm surprised how well he stuck to it.

The plan in the beginning really managed to make it all the way through this winding, massive series and get to the end in a very clear way.

I assumed he had found his way there organically, meanderingly.

Just got my notification that Origins of the Wheel of Time by Michael Livingston has shipped and should arrive tomorrow.
