An Italian of Jewish descent, Isacco had to leave high school because of #Mussolini's "Racial Laws".

Iris (22) fought bravely in her #partisan unit until - wounded and surrounded - she shot herself so that her comrades could disengage.

A catholic, he joined a Communist rebel band to fight the enemy.

Captured, he was tortured and executed with other antifascist #partisans.

Long days of cruel torture proved fruitless as Irma kept silent to protect her comrades.

Argentina — Diana Irene Oesterheld, 21-y.o. Montoneros member and daughter of El Eternauta's author, Héctor, was kidnapped #Otd, August 7, 1976, in San Miguel de Tucumán.

She was 6/7-months pregnant and had a son, Fernando.

She was never seen alive again.
