In John 16:33, Jesus tells His disciples that in the world there will be tribulations, but to rejoice, because He has overcome the world.

Peter said that Christ’s suffering for us leaves an example that we should follow in His footsteps (1Pe 2:21). Jesus said we would be hated for His name’s sake (Mat 10:22), but also that we would be blessed when persecuted for righteousness’ sake (Mat 5:10).

Jesus said tribulation and persecution arises for the word's sake (Mar 4:17); those who are able to endure, and have the true word of God in them, have the ability to overcome (1Jn 2:14).

When one reads scripture there is not one amongst God’s chosen who had an easy simple life. Every person had to go through trials and tribulations until they passed their tests birthing forth a facet of God within them. It is in the time of tribulation that God trains you with tests to make you face those deceptive ways of thinking.
Ja 1:2-3 “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ​knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”
Be encouraged and know that God is with us through all things we are going through ,and confident in the knowledge you have learned to apply it in all situations, to pass your test.

Do you know that names in the bible actually have significant meanings to them?

In Hebaric thought, everything is based on character and function. A person’s name was based on what that person would fulfill in their life.

Jacob, for example, means “supplanter” or “trickster.” We read in Genesis 27 that Jacob tricked his brother Esau into selling his inheritance, for a bowl of soup, because of his desire for the Lord, while Esau put no value in what had been given to him. Later, Jacob's name was changed to Israel, meaning “God prevails,” or “those who rule with God” (Gen 32).

The seed is the Word of God (Lk 8:11), so every time we receive the seed of God’s Word a battle in our minds takes place. Why? The Word says that God is at war with the carnal mind (ref Rom 8:7). Those who are victorious in the battle, hear the revelation of the Word and fight with it to overcome their old mindsets.
