PA House Republicans blame Democrats (who have a 1-vote majority) for a late budget; they neglect to mention that in the previous 12 years (when the GOP had a lock on the PA House/Senate), the budget was in some cases MONTHS late in 2022, 2017, 2015, and 2014 because the GOP was intent on, among other things, raising college tuition and picking on trans kids. Pennsylvania Republicans can't have it both ways, as much as they want to manufacture the outrage.

Uh huh. So Democratic state Sens. Lisa Boscola and Anthony H. Williams are allying themselves with a party launched by Andrew Yang. Yang, who is convinced mentally ill homeless people are deeply dangerous, has a fundamental misunderstanding of police reform, actively courts Joe Rogan's audience...that is not a place I want to stand. Look, I like the idea of UBI and ranked choice voting as much as the next lady, but Yang and the Forward Party aren't it.

Her GOP opponent is running on being an outsider with no political experience, gives vague platitudes about doing "what's right," and attacks the Dem candidate in a really sleazy way. Unsurprising.
