#Racism in US medicine (pancreatic cancer)

"Patients with #PDAC were less likely to undergo surgical resection if they did not have a college education, had an annual median income less than or equal to the 25th percentile, were Black, were on Medicare or Medicaid, or were older than 65 years of age. Black patients were also less likely to receive adjuvant chemotherapy or have consultation with an oncologic specialist, such as a radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, or surgical oncologist."

I am Justo Castaño, a cell biologist working at the Maimónides Biomedical Research Institute of Córdoba #IMIBIC and the University of Córdoba(Spain).
