Day off movie outting marred by alarm & evacuation of cinema. Fortunately we got back in eventually and saw rest of screening (zero points to cinema staff who never once talked to the hundreds of viewers waiting & wondering, though)

An extraordinary #discovery. A #pub unchanged for 50+ years! Caramel-stained roof from #tobacco and #wood #smoke. Flaking #paint and faded #pictures on walls. Grimey, threadbare #carpets. Ripped #upholstery on chairs. This is the #chaos through the tiny serving hatch. No #website. No #sign on the road. Hidden from view. And I’m not telling you where it was, because I want this place to stay unchanged forever! The #beer? Crystal clear, perfect temperature. The finest #pint I’ve had in ages! 🥰🥰🥰
