#maker This is quite an old project which I finished in 2015.
A "complete #Arduino" in an #automotive ('Bosch-style') relay case with a USB connector (for use as kinda "micro-#PLC" in cars).
It is based on #ATMEGA32U4 and is even somewhat modular, you can combine different base-boards (the bottom one) with different MCU-boards (the top one).
The base board is responsible for the physical I/O level and for power supply and protection.
There's even an optional ('headless') #MSD #Bootloader for it.

What do you do when you need to use a RaspberryPi as a PLC? For this purpose we created https://github.com/strolch-li/strolch-plc

It is written in #Java and makes it easy to write #PLC logic, by thinking of actors and sensors as two key entities: Resource and Actions. So turning a conveyor on, when would send a Conveyor-On action, masking the low-level complexity. Be notified on Conveyor-Occupied for when something is on a conveyor.

And, deserving of its own post, I am part of the #ActuallyAutistic community :autism: . I was just diagnosed in September of this year and am slowly learning more about myself. I was growing my #PLC (personal learning community) on the birdsite when it was sold. Looking to further connect to and expand my #neurodivergent community here.
