I purchased a car from Canada once. It was a FIAT. (aka ‘Fix it Again Tony’;) chuckles.

Well the first thing I did when purchased the car was an oil change. The mechanic asked me "Why is a 110 Volt cord hanging from the front end of vehicle”. Well I asked the same question.. “The original owner told me that in Canada it gets very cold.. like 20 below freezing and the oil in the oil pan freezes like tar where the engine cannot turn itself over to start bc oil is too thick”.

“A slow heating element is placed at the bottom of oil pan to keep oil liquidized so that oil does not thicken --allowing the vehicle to start with no problems. Also in almost every parking lot in Canada they have 110v outlets to plug into the vehicle while at work --a trickle charge to heat the element so that oil does not freeze.” he went on..

Bowing to #pressure from #critics over its #handling of more than $500 #Billion in Coronavirus #Relief_Funds, the #Small_Business_Administration today released a #trove of #data about the recipients of loans from the Federal Paycheck Protection Program, including full #business_names and #addresses for companies that received loans of $150,000 or more.

The list was made public on the U.S. #Treasury’s website in a #downloadable spreadsheet along with a lengthy explanation about what viewers should—and should not—glean from the information.
