Found what I thought might be a hedgehog #mushroom on today's #foraging expedition... But it turned out to be something else- Sardon stereosarcinon, per iNaturalist. The smell is not especially pungent, but also not the faint to mildly sweet scent I recall hedgehogs having. #PacNW

Someone recommended the Watch Duty app for fire monitoring, and I am glad. It’s very cool! And allows me to turn on notifications for specific fires that concern me most. I used to rely on Twitter for this, but of course that’s no longer such a good idea.

I see Watch Duty has icons on their page to link out to FB, Insta etc.. Wonder if/when we can start seeing Mastodon icons among them?

I’m the tech lead / architect for LinkedIn’s ML Infra organization (just started last month), planning scale-out of our LLM and LPM (and GNN) infra, among other things.
