Earlier, I mentioned that most of the villains in my music are secretly under the Ungod's influence, though they might believe they are actually serving "God," "Satan," or whatever else. But there is one particular villain who knows EXACTLY what the Ungod is, and who knowingly serves the monster as a willing accomplice. This is the Warlock, or as he is sometimes called, "the Disciple of the Worm."
The Warlock first appears in "Our Lady of Thrones," but his true cosmic significance is more fully detailed in "The Scarlet Nemesis." Like his unholy master, he is an ancient monster of isfet from beyond time and space. He is much smaller than the Ungod - about the size of a regular human person - but no less dangerous. He worms his way into various universes under various guises, engineering different disasters to facilitate the Ungod's appearance in the sky.
In "Our Lady of Thrones," the Warlock accomplishes this goal by assisting the Reverend President in his rise to power, and by engineering a mass epidemic of violence against alleged "witches" (mainly targeting the Church of Many Mothers in the process). The hysteria that ensues from this social panic causes Ma'at to finally come undone, allowing the Ungod to break into our world.
After the Ungod is exorcised by the Knights in Sutekh's Service, the Warlock uses his power over the Reverend President and the Witchfinder to establish the Kingdom Guard, a theocratic fascist regime that targets the community of New Sennebytos for extermination. This is because the Church of Many Mothers is the last bastion of Ma'at after the apocalypse, and if it is successfully destroyed, the Ungod will reappear in our sky again, perhaps for good this time. So the final battle between the Kingdom Guard and the women of New Sennebytos is more than just a conflict between two post-apocalyptic civilizations; it is also a cosmic battle for the spirit of humanity itself.
But in "The Scarlet Nemesis," we learn this is all just *one* of the Warlock's apocalyptic schemes, and that he has countless others that are currently in progress in other universes. He is the true mastermind behind such catastrophes as the Wroughtwreath Corporation ("Holiday Fear"), the Illuminati Bubonic Variant ("Bacillus Pestis"), the Neverdead ("Graveyard Minds"), various pseudo-satanic terrorist cults ("Hell is Where the Heart is"), and even a failed insurrection in a place called Great Kektrys ("Mesozoic," of which more will be said later). Each of these schemes is designed to facilitate the end of civilization and the appearance of the Ungod somehow.
The Warlock wears a different disguise and assumes a different identity for each of these schemes, and he is quite adept at infiltrating different communities and twisting them to serve his own interests. He can twist anything - Christianity, Satanism, atheism, even the worship of Egyptian Gods - to make it poisonous and toxic to the human spirit. He also likes to position himself "behind" other villains (such as the Reverend President), encouraging them to think they are in charge, when in reality they are just his puppets. If most of these other villains actually knew who the Warlock really is and what he actually stands for, they would either run away from him screaming or die of fright.
The Disciple of the Worm has made quite a few enemies during his aeons-old career, but almost none of them pose any threat to him whatsoever. As a monster of isfet, he is immortal and cannot be destroyed with any conventional weaponry. But there is one person in the entire multiverse who actually makes him nervous, and that is the younger Shieldmaiden of Set. Although she has no inherent supernatural abilities of her own, the Shieldmaiden possesses the only weapon that can harm the Warlock: a khepesh sickle sword, forged from the iron bones of her divine Namesake, which glows bright red whenever monsters of isfet are near.
The Shieldmaiden also has a will of iron that is infinitely stronger than that of anyone else the Warlock has ever met. She relentlessly pursues him across multiple realities in "The Scarlet Nemesis," foiling as many of his evil schemes as she can. It keeps the Warlock awake at night, knowing that this mere mortal woman is somehow capable of causing him so much trouble. Their interdimensional conflict continues to echo throughout Creation, with both the Warlock and the Shieldmaiden influencing events in other storylines (including "Cymetrodons" and the upcoming "Summer's End IV").
While "The Scarlet Nemesis" tries to give a sense of just how many different universes the Shieldmaiden and the Warlock have visited during their battles, there is actually no way for anyone to be sure of this number. I imagine the two of them have had plenty more battles in plenty more universes, between each of the stories that are included on that album.

The younger Shieldmaiden of Set beats the stuffing out of the Warlock across multiple realities, like he owes her money (in "The War Across the Worlds," from "The Scarlet Nemesis").

"His Nocturnal Majesty" is the elder Shieldmaiden of Set's story, while "The Scarlet Nemesis" is her daughter's story. But the middle chapter of this trilogy, "Our Lady of Thrones," is the story of the Church of Many Mothers. Both Shieldmaidens appear in this narrative, but they do so as guest characters, not as the main protagonists. "Our Lady of Thrones" is also a double album, with the first half taking place just before "His Nocturnal Majesty," and with the second half taking place afterwards (i.e., just before "The Scarlet Nemesis").
The Church of Many Mothers is a secret society founded by the Sorceress of New Sennebytos, who lived most of her life before the Appearance of the Ungod. When she was a child, the Sorceress received visions of the coming apocalypse from the Goddess Isis, who instructed in her in how to prepare for this cataclysm. As she grew up, the Sorceress gained many followers, mostly women, who pooled their resources together to purchase some land out west. Then they established the community of New Sennebytos, where they built bunkers and stockpiled resources for surviving the Ungod's attack.
Although the Church poses absolutely no threat to anyone, it soon attracts the attention of three extremely dangerous enemies. First is the Witchfinder, an inexplicably superhuman killer who never speaks, and who is obsessed with executing every "witch" he can possibly find. Second is the Reverend President, a televangelist who is elected into the White House, and who incites national hatred against the Church for allegedly being a "feminazi doomsday cult."
The Witchfinder and the Reverend President both believe they are serving the God of the Bible, and they believe their actions will cause the Second Coming of Christ to occur. But in reality, both madmen are being manipulated by a third villain: the Warlock or "Disciple of the Worm," who is not even human. I will explain more about the Warlock in another post; the important point for now is that he knowingly serves the Ungod, and that he engineers a "satanic panic" (boosted with hexed TV and radio signals) to help the Reverend President in his rise to power. This mass epidemic of religious violence is what finally enables the Ungod to appear in the sky.
When the Ungod appears, the Sorceress and her followers retreat into their bunkers in New Sennebytos, and they do not return to the surface until the Ungod has been execrated by the elder Shieldmaiden of Set. After this happens, the women of New Sennebytos begin to rebuild human civilization. As they do so, they learn that the Witchfinder, the Reverend President, and the Warlock are all still alive. The villains have even established a post-apocalyptic theocracy called "the Kingdom Guard." The second half of "Our Lady of Thrones" follows our Isian heroes as they are pulled into a final confrontation against this evil regime.

An introduction to my music. I enjoy composing instrumental music scores for "Polytheist Movies That Don't Exist."

It is completely unnecessary for anyone to "join" the First Church of the Holy Jackass. All of my materials pertaining to Setianism are provided to the general public entirely for free (at http://desertofset.com). This is because no one should ever have to join any particular outfit or pay any money to learn about Set (or as I like to call Him, "the Big Enchilada").
The only media I create that *is* monetized is my original music, which I have tried to make as accessible and affordable to everyone as possible. My music is available for streaming and purchase on Amazon, Apple iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify, and various other platforms. Most of my work is also available to stream for free on YouTube (at https://www.youtube.com/@GBMarian), and my entire discography (all 26 releases so far!) can be purchased at gbmarian.bandcamp.com for just $27 (i.e., 50% off the total price). But again, even if that seems pricey, my music can also just be streamed on most any digital music platform you might prefer.
I've probably made about $8 off of all my albums so far since 2020, thanks to how streaming licenses work. But that's OK, because the real goal here has always been to create and spread as much quality Setian/Kemetic/Pagan/Polytheist content as possible, just so that it will exist. I'm literally just making stuff I always wanted to see when I was a strappin' young Setian lad, back in the 1990s, and I hope maybe all this work will prove helpful to other Setians, Kemetics, Pagans, and/or Polytheists out there. I know I sure could have used some of this stuff back when I was still a kid, that's for sure.
