As per bio, I am a micropaleontologist working from Berlin's MfN. I work primarily on siliceous microfossils (#Radiolaria #Diatoms) and their relationship with past climate and oceans (#Paleoceanography #Paleoclimatology). I am also a programmer (primarily #R #Python #SQL and a bit of #JuliaLang) and the current maintainer/developer of the Neptune DB (a DB of microfossil occurrences and #Stratigraphy).

At the #BolinDays2021 talks Thomas Mörs says there that exists fossil evidence of a certain species called helmeted frogs in the West Antarctic peninsula, which puts the lower bound for the coldest temperature at 3.7 degree celsius! Amazing.
