Looking at hopping to the #Panasonic S5 IIx camera bandwagon, and finding out that such a move would cost me just shy of $5k with tax (24-105mm, 50mm, 20-60mm kit lens, MC-21 EF adapter, and a few other adapters, plus two cheaper #TTArtisan lenses). That's a steep price to pay to join the L-mount.

Regardless, it is really the dream I always had about cameras: best IBIS of all, good AF, great video options, not too bad color. Only thing that could be improved is having a larger screen.

Another #boombox in the collection (no 24) found locally for €10, #Panasonic RX-DT680 soft touch stereo, i believe its from #1991 and would been an expensive unit back in the day. both tape decks on this one have auto reverse, soft touch control, it has a 4 channel amp, quiet impressed by its power and its quiet weighty, it does also have the CD and still has its handle but the aerial is broken, but we'll consider that an easy fix.

I mostly shoot with b/w film, which we can (and do) develop at home, so red is kinda...difficult to see there. :)

I own a few video #cameras so I can't justify getting yet one more. But if I could, I'd get either the #Canon R6 MkII, or the R7. While #Sony provides more video-related features, I really dislike its #color #science, especially in darker situations. The same goes for all companies that use Sony sensors (e.g. #Panasonic, #Fuji and #Blackmagic). Unfortunately, fixing it with color grading is not possible to the degree I'd like it to look like film. Even with #Dehancer, it still isn't as pleasant.
