I have never had English pancakes and am trying to wrap my mind around lemon juice & sugar on a pancake. A thin, unraised pancake. Could be good, actually. However -- and this may be anathema to British people -- I think I might make some fluffy/ baking powder American pancakes today, maybe even with chocolate chips. 🥞

I guess this is part of the rules, it is about using up what you have left in the cupboard, not buying new stuff.

Io fino a un paio di anni fa non li avevo mai fatti in casa poi per caso un giorno li ho fatti insieme ai gemelli ed è stato amore a prima vista (rigorosamente con sciroppo d'acero) ora è un rito del sabato mattina!
