Very sad news to hear of the passing of Italian footballer #GianlucaVialli , 58

He was diagnosed with #PancreaticCancer in 2017 but after a gruelling fight with surgery/chemo he was all-clear in 2020

Vialli was re-diagnosed in 2021. This must have been shattering after what he'd been through.

I have a lot of sympathy as I've endured #pancreatitis for 8 years. I've lost 60% of my pancreas and have a tumour at the pancreatic duct. But hey ho, my medical team are monitoring it & I feel fine
