The #panicbuying is continuing. This time its #eggs. Literally no eggs left on the shelves. Even the hand-knitted #organic eggs were notable by their absence.

Trying to figure out why there's a shortage I thought: are the #Ukranians throwing chickens at the routed #Russians? Is it #birdflu? Is it #Brexit?

It's all getting rather silly 🚫 🥚

France has closed travel from the uk, including freight. This has closed the port of Dover. I'll report on any #PanicBuying and shortages I see as I'm doing the weekly shop this morning. If there is anything people want me to particularly look out for please let me know.

Daughter very upset.
She had to step in when 2 men were shouting at an assistant in Boots the chemist, because she had been told to limit purchases of Carex antibacterial handwash to 1 per customer, and they were trying to buy the last 6 off the shelf.
She told them that they were being very aggressive and offered to back up the sales assistant if they made a complaint.
They left with 2 bottles.
Are people that stupid?
