The story is great; the writing is witty; they've taken a clever theme (origami) and fleshed it out to create a rich, consistent world. Each area is unique and fun, with puzzles, hidden surprises, and a mid-boss whose defeat gives you an ability that helps you reach or defeat the area boss.
The combat system seems to be pretty polarizing (see the polygon review), but it's refreshing, and I don't feel like it's too hard, even for kids – I messed up a lot of the combat puzzles, but it's possible to recover, and there are plenty of helpers and powerups available.
Overall, big recommend if you're at all interested in jrpg-style games.
