For me, the #Paralympics are the ultimate in inspiration porn. 'See, even #disabled people can do it if they HAVE ENOUGH WILL'

It's so far removed from our everyday lives and realities.
And yet governments use it as an effective smoke screen.

I find Paralympic #athletes admirable. But to hold them up as role models (as well as able athletes) is incredibly toxic.
