IMO a cure for #Parkinsons won't be found this century. Suspected toxic causes in our surroundings will continue to trigger the disease in vulnerable people regardless of genes.

I've always assumed a bad fall is somewhere in her future, but we don't hover over her, and have let caregivers know they shouldn't really, either, for the most part.

It's one of those quality-of-life balances you just have to make. She doesn't like being treated like an invalid, and I (and her family) feel like she should have as good a life as possible while she can.

(No, we're not reckless, we take plenty of precautions & care.)
