@mgrass Personally I think that #MassMedia has to adapt and instead of toxic #Paywalling which only drives customers to #tinfoilhats that don't do that, they should embrace things like #Flattr, #kachingl and a regular #PayPal #donation button.

Or at the very least choose to make buying articles or an entire issue not more expensive and inconvenient as buying #print by having an easy #SMSpayment option like @heiseonline.

The rumour is when he tried to force PayPal into the basic model he's proposing for Twitter (the "everything" app is bluster--he just wants to make a crypto bank out of Twitter) they booted him because they didn't want to be another giant bank. Elon is just making a bank.
