I'm putting this out there, not that it matters much since I've sort of given up on it but I sometimes make YouTube videos. I used to like making them, but it caused more disappointments and stress for me than it was worth. YouTube for a long time allowed me to earn extra income but I hardly get any revenue now. (maybe if I posted more lol) This was one of my last videos I posted.

Holiday sales emails feel particularly aggressive this year. Some companies I genuinely like and loosely follow (#PeakDesign, #Lumos, #ShopMoment) have emailed every single day for a week or two.

Peak Design sometimes multiple times a day. This is way out of line. And yeah, I’ve been unsubscribing.

I’m also considering swapping out the Universal Mount for the Out Front Bike Mount, since it can flip up to film rides (I track everything on my Watch anyway, the phone is really just there to power music for my Bluetooth speaker. Yes, I’m one of those cyclists).

Fellow cyclists: I’ve been using the #PeakDesign Mobile phone case + Universal Bike Mount for the past couple months on mostly 10+ mile rides into and around the Chicago loop.

I usually don’t like or use phone cases, but this is now a permanent exception for when I ride. Great case, supremely simple insert and removal locking system, solid mount when it’s on. I super recommend it.

Took my Peak Design Mobile case + bike mount out for a spin yesterday. I’m usually not a case person (iPhone 13 Pro Max, FWIW), but it’s worth it for this mounting system. Super fast, no awkward rubber straps to block the screen or Face ID cameras. Very cool system. Much recommend.
