This month's #Pebble zine is out! This time we're looking at how to create a vibrato effect & add it to an Instrument.

So a couple of months ago one of the pins on my watch broke. It was a #ZeTime smartwatch, which was fine (and looks good with the analogue hands over the display.) But it made me think I should resurrect my #Pebble. So that's now charging with a strap fitted. Turns out setting it up was pretty smooth, I'll see how it goes over the weekend.
God, I love this watch
@Scottclark I am asking myself the same thing. I'd like an #eink #smartwatch that does not solely focus on fitness, but on productivity, like the original vision for #pebble. Something that really reduces notifications to the bare minimum. #digitaldetox

The July issue of the #Pebble Zine is out now! This month we're getting in-depth on how sounds work in Pebble, including how to create custom waveforms!

The June issue of #Pebble Zine is out now! This month we're talking about Modules, which are the building blocks that make up basically everything in Pebble code:

When opening my #pebble to fix the screen tearing, I must've done something wrong. It won't charge anymore unless I use force to press on the charging connector :/

I need to post an update about #Pebble development sometime, because the release of Godot 4 has kinda thrown a wrench into my original plan.
The short note is: getting Pebble onto Godot 4 is going to take a full rebuild of the front-end. So I probably won't be doing more small patches until after I do the rebuild, which will be a major revision--maybe even like v2.0. But I also don't know when I will have time to set aside for Pebble work--it depends on a number of life factors!
The May issue of the #Pebble Zine is out now! This time we're talking about 'chunks'--the main blocks that Pebble code files are broken into.
I've got some news: I'm starting up a monthly minizine for #Pebble, my music code language!
It's a little inspired by some of the audio production magazines we get at my library, and every month I'll focus on a different topic--tutorials, features, and even some of the cool tricks I've picked up over the years of playing with this thing!
This first issue is just a real light intro. It's free to read--check it out!

#Pebble Time Steel. There are still people using it. I have a People time and steel here. And I get nostalgia. Maybe really start using them again...

I still am.
One of my main goals for this challenge was to figure out a #Pebble workflow that works for mw consistently, so I've veen trying lots of different approaches. I've spent a lot of time setting up templates and things that ended up making things harder for me ratyer than easier, haha. So some of these project files are going to be a real challenge to navigate, just because of whatever weird approach I was trying out.
