In 2021, I was learning about the #PegasusSpyware attacks and it spooked me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasus_(spyware) I decided to make a fresh survey of the not-iOS / not-Android smartphone market and settled on buying an #SonyXperiaXII with #SailfishOS pre-installed. I like the phone a lot. But there are questions: Is #SailfishOS secure from a Pegasus-style attack? Am I *less* anonymous on the internet if I'm using a phone with an OS that has an infinitesimal market share? Why should I even try an alt OS?

Polish attorney Roman Giertych and prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek were both being spied on using #pegasusspyware.

The Polish government refuses to cooperate in investigation of this illegal activity.

Maybe @D_Tarczynski could remind his government to respect legal obligations.
