Pennsylvania has been in good hands with #JoshShapiro as Attorney General--even when it comes to something like taking on Grubhub. I'm so delighted he's our Governor-Elect (I'd be happy even if his opponent hadn't been an election-denying, white Christian nationalist, January 6 insurrection-attending loonytoon).

Hooray! This is part of what people have been asking for all along in #Philly: fewer cops doing crap that could be done by someone else w/o a gun and w/o that baked-in cop mindset. It would be great to see more reallocation of funds like this.

Not that I expect the PA GOP to be able to remove Philly's DA from office given that their arguments for impeachment are very legally questionable...but I'm imagining two likely scenarios if the GOP is successful. 1) Philly & the surrounding areas will absolutely punish the GOP in next year's municipal elections; 2) Philly will just vote Krasner back in as DA as a giant fuck-you to the GOP. It's truly a fuck around & find out situation.

Uh oh! My former PA State Senator (ousted from office in 2018, now head of the county GOP) thinks it's time to "move on" from Trump. Could it be because local Republicans pretty much got shut out last week across the board, and the entire county flipped Democrat during Trump's reign of shit? Considering all the Pennsylvanians who are still hopelessly devoted to Trump, should make for an interesting year.
