Dieser Spitzling (> Kopfform) oder Getreidewanze ( acuminata) hat den Absprung geschafft 🙂
Er lebt an verschiedenen Gräsern in ungemähten trockenen Wiesen.

An unidentified Stink Bug (family Pentatomidae) spotted at MacRitchie Reservoir Park, Singapore, on 16 April 2023. From far, it just looks brown. Up close, a lovely dimpled pattern appears with blue spots near the head.

Nymphs (3rd and 4th instar) of the southern green shield bug ( viridula).

Originally from the tropics and subtropics, this now cosmopolitan arrived in Germany in 1979 and has become firmly established in the south-west of the country. Due to the very warm weather in recent years, the population has increased considerably.

Die Graue Gartenwanze (Rhaphigaster nebulosa) ist jetzt wieder aktiv und aufgrund ihrer Größe recht auffällig. Insbesondere in Städten ist die wärmeliebende Art recht häufig.

Sehr interessant zu beobachten wer aus einem Eigelege schlüpft! Dass es sich um Wanzeneier handelte war klar, aber dass es Zweispitzwanzen (Picromerus bidens) wurden klärte erst der Schlupf.

Here are 15 stink bug eggs, laid on the underside of a leaf, with the red eyes of nymphs peering out from the pearly eggs. These are from a member of the genus Chinavia, and were photographed by research scientist Igor Siwanowicz.

Die Entwicklung einer Wanze zu beobachten ist spannend: 27.10./L4, 16.11./L5 und am 25.11. adult.
Der Neubürger Reiswanze (Nezara viridula) ähnelt der heimischen Stinkwanze (Palomena prasina).
