Ich habe mir das neue #Periphery angehört. Grundsätzlich gefällt mir. Gefühlt ist der Gap zwischen Härte und Milde größer geworden. Was eig. nicht schlecht ist. Es gibt ein paar 80s und moderne Synth-Vibes die mal mehr mal weniger in das Lied und in das Gesamtbild passen. Das Album ist aber auf jeden Fall hochqualitativ. Sowohl Klangqualität als auch das gewohnte Können an den Instrumenten. Ich muss noch paar Mal anhören, ist aber definitiv eine Empfehlung

Periphery, “Atropos”. More on a soft side, but the video is just absolute bonkers

The beginning sounds like something Mudvayne would do, a rather predictable slam pattern.

Atropos is not trying to be unpredictable; it’s just a very well-composed, perhaps a bit canonical song.

The ending is epic though. Tense and dramatic violins really, really work in context.

-> things get way worst, collapse of #capitalist #periphery could lead to peripheral #revolution and west would turn into right wing #dictatorship.s to assure capital accumulation. (Which will fail)

Neither way, there is no emancipatory project from the west.
