Got some more #aquarelle #painting done. :)
I started with some wet-on-wet experimenting on the top half, and then had to come up with what I would fill the remainder of the A5 #SøstreneGrene #waterColour paper with.
Ended up with some kind of wet-on-dry river with wet-on-wet beach scene, even though the tones don't quite match the lighting of the sky, I guess. :)
It was good to experiment a bit with techniques though, and to not follow an example directly.
Materials used:
- Søstrene Grene acid-free watercolour paper, 20 x A5, 230 grammes
- #Panduro #WaterColourSetBasic (just for the #YellowOchre)
- #RoyalTalens' #VanGogh #WaterColourPaints (primarily #PrussianBlue, #PermanentYellowGreen, #Gamboge, #PermanentRedDeep, and #VermillionRed)
- A variety of brushes; mostly #GreneArt and #WinsorAndNewton
