@manon @caesarea @BerlinMatze es gibt aber auch Bereiche unterhalb des Brocken, da wird gar nichts gemacht. Ich finde das toll! Geduld würde uns allen und v.a. der Natur mal gut tun.

Finished listening to the #audiobook of "The Secret Life of Trees" by Peter Wohlleben and I am thoroughly and utterly charmed by its narrative. Yes, it's a work of #nonfiction, but it's not dry at all. And yes, it's from the point of view of an old #German who manages a #forest in #Europe but I found quite a lot of food for thought that applies to the southern #Ontario #bioregion (mostly in interaction and species diversity). Highly recommend.

I love books that make me think about nature more. #PeterWohlleben's #TheHiddenLifeofTrees has me identifying trees more in my daily life. Unfortunately, Wohlleben's claims are contested and I'm not really able to confirm the accuracy of his claims.
