Corría el año 1962, y #PhilKnight, malogrado corredor y ex alumno de posgrado en Standford nacido un día como el de hoy pero de 1938, se contactó con la empresa japonesa Onitsuka Tiger para vender sus zapatillas en Oregon. La precariedad inicial, hizo que las primeras transacciones se hicieran desde la caja de su auto. Eran los primeros pasos, junto a Bill Bowerman, de una empresa que se convertiría en un gigante de la ropa deportiva. Nos referimos a Nike, cuyo reconocido logo se basó en las alas de una diosa griega, aunque esa sea otra historia que costó solo u$s 35…
