Today's harvest.... the beans are going wild, especially the wax beans. Also nabbed a few more cherry tomatoes, a Hakurei turnip, and ten golden beets. If it were cooler out of make golden beet and beet green risotto. Not sure what I'll make in this miserable super hot weather instead.

Good on the staff at the Museum of the American Revolution. Considering how thoughtfully the museum does NOT whitewash its history, I'm surprised museum leadership would even consider a Moms For Liberty event. ACT UP is protesting the museum on June 9, 6PM.

Also, the Philly Library expects #MomsForLiberty protests over their pride events? I feel the need to counter-protest coming on.

Moms for Liberty is having their National Summit in Philadelphia--June 29 to July 2. Why on earth they'd do this in a city that LOATHES everything they stand for and runs counter to their book banning, anti-parent, regressive bullshit is beyond me. Apparently they're using the downtown Marriott at 1201 Market. Gee, wonder how the city will react-- likely in some way they welcomed the Proud Boys in their little moving van.
